Tee height is a lever, not a ritual
We start with the tee you actually use on Sunday, not a bay tee that flatters launch. Peak, hang, spin window, land angle. If the arrival is already in the 46–50° neighborhood and the miss is left-right, the driver is not the liar — the motion is, and we will say so.
Sea-level heads with low spin look long here and then dump. Adding loft a half-degree, or a shaft that does not balloon, is usually cheaper than a new crown. We will not chase smash as a personality. Smash does not hold a fairway.
Sandia afternoon
If you play after 1 p.m., say so. Shear knocks hang sideways and the land number you loved at 9 a.m. becomes a runner. Jonah will flag the clock on the sheet. A morning-only map for an afternoon golfer is a souvenir.
